Random craziness from my brain, oh and stuff about games I play on Impulse and Steam.
So I decided to brave a quad stacker at the king, having only ever had the double stacker I figured I could handed 2 extra "meat" patties , 2 more slices of cheese, and 6 more strips of bacon...

About half way thru this behemoth I had to take a time out, I was feeling ill.

I eventually did eat the whole thing, it tasted good, but afterwards I just wanted to go to sleep. Lol...

I am guessing all the grease and so forth was clogging my arteries as I sat there.

SO my warning to all is never eat a quad, NEVER!!!!!!!

Burger King Quad Stacker

You are a much braver (or hungrier) man than I. Did they at least give you a t-shirt "I almost vomited at Burger King and all I got was this lousy t-shirt...and a warning from my doctor".

That said I did eat two steaks once...that was a good day.

no shirt, but the sandwich was free cuz by buddy had a buy 1 get 1 coupon. I guess I can't complain too much as I chose to die for free, almost....

Why is all the good stuff life threatening?

I'm no fan of fast food, but there are times when you can't beat a Big King or Big Mac.

Uh oh...the cravings are setting in, I'd better go put on a patch.

Do they still make Big Kings?

Why is all the good stuff life threatening?

everything is threatening in sufficient quantities.

the thing is that these big fast-food chains have brought something that is supposed to come in rare meals into something almost common, mundane.

its akin to sleeping 23 hours a day. that much sleep can kill you.

Lion after the hunt.

I here ya... I had a tirple stacker at this place called the Beef 'n' Bun. It had 4 slices of cheese and 4 slices of bacon wit hthe three patties. By the end of it I felt my heart beating and a strain in my chest.

It was like the Simpsons episode where the simpsons had BBQ( because He wanted to have a better BBQ then Flanders' BBQ), I was wigam with the burger could get up.

You are my hero

Aww comeon guys, there's nothing wrong with a little junk food every now and then. Everything in moderation right? As skinny as I am it is probably actually good for me
on Feb 28, 2007
interesting how we define moderation.
Humans, by very nature, do not moderate. even people on the strictest of diets (excluding balemics/anemics) are still eating foods more than they should.
whats most interesting about this is that our body is built to suffer. in a way it makes sense (would you go hunt food if you were never hungry?) but damn... so cruel the plans of god.

My body mass index suggests otherwise. I took one of those tests once just for giggles. It is a little gizmo that you hold in both hands. It sends an electric impulse through your body and measures the resistance it encounters (from one hand to the other) and from that and based on your height and weight detirmines your body mass index. All it had to say about me was "error"

I'm about 6'1" and 145 lbs. Like I said, a little fast food is probably good for me.
on Feb 28, 2007
still, our bodies aren't meant for the types of fats we drag into our systems. probably the only reason you're 145 lbs at 6' is that you dont get a ton of protein in your diet or genetic history. assuming now that you're a guy.
and still, what is the BMI based on? artificial fitness levels that we ascribe based on averages of the contemporary first world person. it simply doesnt apply.

for instance at your weight and height (you put it up, dont blame me) your body is either 1) streamlined from a genetic history of a low fat, low protien diet (think far east asia or some other, similar diet) or 2) you dont get enough protiens in your diet.

of course I dont know you, and I'm not any dietician. but based on preliminary data, thats what I would suspect.

I guess the way that the tester works is that fat has very low electrical resistance vs. muscle and muscle has low electrical resistance vs. bone. It just runs the electrical resistance that it records through an algorithm (i have no idea what) with your height and weight and spits out the BMI. I guess my electrical resistance was so high compared with my height and weight that I was outside of the range of its results so it just said "error." Not that I give it much stock. I'm a healthy guy... just skinny. I've seen pictures of my dad at my age and I look just like him... well, less like a hippy but still the same build
